1. I was impressed to see that my cutting abilities have improved since elementary school where a "straight line" meant a zig-zag.
2. I was impressed with the fact that I found my hidden glitter stash under the bed. (It's in a shoe box...kind of a long story...)
3. I was impressed that I didn't "accidentally" pour the entire thing of glitter all over our house. (It's just so hard to refrain from wanting to literally "glitterfy" everything!)
Why yes, I did just make up that word.
Glitterfy \glit-ter-fie\ ; the ability to turn an object into something amazing by putting glitter onto the object that was once plain, boring and sad.
I should pause right here and mention that I am not someone who takes the time to make sure that things are precise and accurate, unless it's something that comes with instructions.
My tape did not come with instructions. So naturally, I just thought I would "wing it". I'm not super bummed about how it turned out because I'll have stuff pinned on there to cover up my crooked lines.
**My free advice? Just suck up your pride and use a ruler or something.
(besides like, you know, a washer and dryer)
I have tried to come up with cute little things for each holiday and season which has been really fun! I put Alex's Valentine's Day letter on there and it's just fun to be able to do something a little different like that. Below is a little slideshow of my chalkboard art.
***Disclaimer: When I say "art" this is a very loose term.
Enjoy!
